These terms cover your use of MesaAI, operated by DZN Studios Ltd (company number 07078865), registered office International House, Mosley Street, Manchester, England, M2 3HZ. By opening an account you agree to them.
A subscription service for restaurants: a digital menu published from photographs of your paper menu, QR codes that link to it, a template website, and a table-booking system that takes no commission on bookings.
Your menus, photographs, venue details and diner records remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them only as far as running the service requires — publishing your menu to your QR code, showing your venue on your booking page, and so on.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish. Allergen information in particular is a legal obligation in Spain and the EU: MesaAI can extract it from your menu, but a person at your restaurant must check it before publishing, and the tools are built to require that.
For bookings taken through MesaAI you are the data controller and we are your processor. You agree to handle your diners' data lawfully, and we agree to process it only on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy.
You agree not to:
We aim to keep MesaAI running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance is scheduled outside typical service hours where we can. Some features depend on third parties — Google Calendar, Stripe, Google's AI models — and can be disrupted by them.
MesaAI is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost bookings. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us. On closure you can export your data for 90 days, after which it is deleted.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and the courts of Spain have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer rather than a business, this does not remove protections you have under the law of the country you live in.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect.
